The short version. One More Plate keeps your training on your iPhone. We run no servers, there are no accounts, and the app sends nothing on its own. Your data moves only when you move it: to Apple Health if you turn that on, to Files when you save a backup there, and wherever you share an export, a card or text. With Pro and the app on your Apple Watch, a workout you start also runs as a workout on the watch, and Apple Health records your heart rate during it (section 4). We can’t see your workouts.
1. Who we are
One More Plate (加一片) is made by Zijie Wu, an individual developer in Glasgow, United Kingdom (“we”). Contact: support@onemoreplate.app.
We are based in the UK. We have not appointed a representative in the EU, because we process personal data only occasionally, when you email us, and not on a large scale (GDPR Art. 27(2)(a)).
2. What the app keeps, and where
Everything below stays on your device, in the app’s own storage:
- your workouts: exercises, sets, weights, reps, effort ratings, how your joints and muscles felt at the start if you answered, notes and times;
- your plans and how far you are through them;
- the training profile you fill in, such as your goal, experience, training days and session length, the joints that bother you if you pick any when you set up a plan, and optionally your estimated maxes;
- body measurements you choose to log, such as body weight and body fat, with any note you add;
- exercises you create, and your settings;
- backups of your data, as files in the app’s own storage: a daily one while “Auto backup” is on (it is on unless you turn it off), any you make with “Back up now”, and a safety copy the app makes before each import. The app keeps the newest seven of these, of any kind, and deletes older ones;
- short-lived copies the app makes while you save a backup to Files, export a spreadsheet, share a card or import a file. Each is deleted once it has been used, and any left behind are deleted when you delete your data in the app.
Heart rate is not on this list: with an Apple Watch (Pro), the app shows your heart rate live during a workout and on its summary afterwards, but never stores it (section 4).
None of it is sent to us. The app contains no analytics, advertising, tracking or crash-reporting code, and it makes no network requests of its own. Only Apple’s own services it uses connect to Apple, such as the App Store when you buy or restore Pro (section 6).
3. When data leaves the app
Only when you send it:
- Export as a spreadsheet creates a CSV file, and you choose where it goes through the iOS share sheet.
- Share cards are images you choose to share. If you choose Save Image, the card is added to your Photos (and to iCloud Photos, if you use it). The app can add to Photos but never reads it.
- Ask your own AI puts a summary of your recent training into text that you share through the iOS share sheet. Once you paste it into an AI service, that service’s terms and privacy policy apply, not ours.
- Save backup to Files saves a backup of your data as a file in the place you choose in Files. If that place is iCloud Drive or another storage provider, the file is kept under Apple’s or that provider’s terms, not ours. You can import it back into the app.
- Also copy to a folder, if you turn it on, puts a copy of each day’s backup in a folder you pick in Files and keeps the newest seven there. The same terms apply as for Save backup to Files. The app deletes only its own older copies in that folder, never anything else.
- Apple Health, if you turn it on, receives each workout you finish: its start and end time, or, for a workout your Apple Watch recorded (Pro), the workout the watch recorded, with its active energy (section 4). With Pro and the app on your watch, the watch runs a workout session for each workout whether saving is on or off, and Health records your heart rate during it; the switch decides only whether the workout is saved to Health.
- Your iPhone’s own backups (iCloud Backup, or a backup made on a computer) may include the app’s storage. Those backups are made under Apple’s terms and your device settings, not ours.
When you bring a file in:
- Import from Files lets you pick a backup you saved in Files. The app first saves a safety copy of your current data, then copies the file you pick, merges it into your data, and deletes the copy; the original stays where it was.
- Import from Strong or Hevy lets you pick that app’s CSV export in Files. The app copies the file you pick, reads it, and deletes the copy; the original stays where it was. Nothing is sent anywhere.
4. Apple Health
Saving to Apple Health is off unless you turn on “Save workouts to Apple Health” (Profile → Connections & data). Then each workout you finish is saved to Health as Traditional Strength Training, with only its start and end time: no sets, weights, calories or distance. A workout your Apple Watch recorded is saved as the watch recorded it instead, with the active energy it measured; Apple Health may show the heart rate your watch measured during it (below). Health also records which app and device wrote it, and the app adds a random workout ID. A workout ends at your last logged set, and one with no logged set isn’t saved. The app reads only heart rate and workouts from Health, and only for the Apple Watch features below. Health is Apple’s store on your device (and in iCloud if you sync Health there); we never receive any of it. We never use Health data for advertising, marketing or data mining, and never sell or share it. Turn saving off with the same switch or in the Health app. Workouts already saved stay in Health until you delete them there.
Apple Watch and heart rate (Pro). If One More Plate is on your paired Apple Watch, a workout you start on your iPhone also starts a workout session on the watch, whether “Save workouts to Apple Health” is on or off (the switch decides only whether the workout is saved to Health), and Apple’s HealthKit records your heart rate and active energy during it, as for any watch workout. The first time, iOS asks on the watch and on the iPhone whether the app may read your heart rate, and on the watch whether it may save workouts, which a watch workout needs even if you don’t save to Health. While you train, the watch passes its latest heart rate straight to your iPhone to show on both screens; it isn’t kept. To show your workout on the watch, your iPhone sends it the current exercise and set, with its weight and target reps. The watch keeps only the latest of these until the next one replaces it, and stores nothing else.
- What is written. With “Save workouts to Apple Health” on, the workout saved to Health is the one the watch recorded, instead of the iPhone’s entry with only a start and end time. Either way, one workout is saved, not two. With the switch off, the watch throws its workout away and the app saves nothing, though the heart-rate readings the watch took may stay in Health, as Apple keeps them.
- What is read. Only two things: the heart rate Health holds from a finished workout’s start to its finish (at most 12 hours), and only for a workout a watch recorded; and workouts, only to check whether the watch already saved this one. Reading heart rate doesn’t need the Save switch.
- Where it shows. The workout summary shows your average and highest heart rate and a heart-rate curve. They are read from Health each time they are shown, and heart rate is never stored in the app, its backups or its exports. The app keeps only a list of which workouts a watch recorded (workout IDs, no readings), on this iPhone only and never in a backup or export.
- Share images. The curve and your average and highest heart rate appear on a workout’s share image only when you share it and leave its “Heart rate” switch on (it is on each time the preview opens).
- Your choice. Change the permission at any time in the Health app (your profile → Apps → One More Plate) or in iOS Settings (Privacy & Security → Health → One More Plate). Without it, the watch still shows and logs your sets; no heart rate is shown.
Heart rate and other Health data never reach us: there is no server, and the app sends nothing over the internet. We never use them for advertising, marketing or data mining, never sell them, and never share them with third parties. They are used only to show your training back to you. A heart rate leaves the app only on a share image you send yourself.
5. Notifications and Live Activities
Rest-timer alerts are scheduled on your device. The workout shown on the Lock Screen, in the Dynamic Island and on your Apple Watch comes from data on your device. There is no push server.
6. Purchases
One More Plate Pro is sold by Apple. Apple handles the payment and your Apple Account under its own terms and privacy policy; we never see your payment details or your Apple Account. To know that you own Pro, the app keeps on your device Apple’s product identifier and transaction identifier, the purchase date, whether you bought Pro or have it through Family Sharing, whether it was a test purchase, and when the app last confirmed the purchase. If you start the free 30-day trial, Apple records it as a free purchase, and the app keeps on your device when the trial started. Buying, restoring or checking Pro goes through Apple’s App Store. Refunds go through Apple. Your statutory rights are not affected.
7. Ratings
The app may ask iOS to show its rating prompt; iOS decides whether it appears. Ratings and reviews go to Apple, not through us. The app keeps only the date it last asked.
8. If you email us
If you email support@onemoreplate.app, we receive your email address, the name your mail app shows, and what you write. We use it only to answer you. We keep it for no longer than 12 months after the conversation ends, and we delete it sooner if you ask. Cloudflare passes the email on to our Gmail mailbox, where Google stores it under its own terms; we share it with no one else.
Please don’t send your export files or health details. If you do, we will delete them, unless you ask us to use them to solve your problem.
For people in the EU and UK: we process your email because we have a legitimate interest in answering you, or because you asked us to act. If you ask us to use health details you sent, we rely on your explicit consent (GDPR Art. 9(2)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time. Your email may be stored and processed outside your country, including in the United States, by Cloudflare and Google. Both take part in the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and its UK extension, and otherwise use standard contractual clauses.
9. Your choices and rights
- Delete. “Delete training and personal data” (Profile → Connections & data → Backup, import & privacy) removes your workouts, plans, templates, training profile, body measurements, custom exercises, and the backups saved in the app. Your language and theme stay, and so do the saved Pro purchase and trial records, so Pro stays unlocked and the trial isn’t offered again. It also turns off “Save workouts to Apple Health”; workouts already saved to Health stay there until you delete them in the Health app. Deleting the app removes everything in its own storage. It also stops “Also copy to a folder”. Backups you saved to Files or that were copied to your folder, and files you exported or shared elsewhere, are yours and are not touched.
- Your training data never reaches us, so we cannot access, correct or delete it for you. It is under your control on your device.
- Emails you sent us, wherever you live: you can ask to see, correct or delete them, to restrict how we use them, or to get a copy in a portable format. You can object to how we use them, and withdraw any consent you gave.
- Complaints. If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your personal data, tell us first at support@onemoreplate.app; we’ll acknowledge your complaint within 30 days. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk) or to the data-protection authority where you live.
For people in California: we don’t sell or share personal information, as California law defines those words. The app itself sends us nothing, and nothing in it tracks you across other apps or websites, so a Do Not Track signal has nothing to switch off; the app doesn’t look for one.
10. Consumer health data (US)
Some US state laws, such as Washington’s My Health My Data Act and Nevada’s consumer health data law, ask for a separate notice about consumer health data. This is ours.
- What: the training you log, the body measurements you choose to log, the joints you say bother you and how you felt at the start of a workout, and, with Pro and an Apple Watch, the heart rate the app reads from Apple Health.
- Where it comes from: you, and Apple Health on your device.
- Why: only to run the app for you: to plan and adjust your training and show it back to you.
- Who receives it: no one. It stays on your device; we never receive it, never sell it and never share it. It leaves the app only when you send it yourself (sections 3 and 4).
- Your rights: you can see, export and delete all of it in the app (sections 3 and 9). Because it never reaches us, we hold none of it. For questions, email support@onemoreplate.app.
11. Children
One More Plate is not directed at children under 13. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn a child under 13 has emailed us, we delete it.
12. Health
One More Plate is a training aid, not medical advice. The measurements and training data you enter stay on your device (section 2) unless you send them yourself (sections 3 and 4).
13. Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top. If a change would mean the app starts collecting data, we will tell you in the app before it happens.

联系方式:support@onemoreplate.app。
2. App
- 训练记录:动作、组数、重量、次数、主观用力程度、开练时关节和肌肉的感觉(如果你回答了)、备注和时间;
- 你的训练计划及其进度;
- 你填写的训练资料,如训练目标、训练年限、每周训练天数和每次时长,制定计划时你选的不舒服的关节(如果选了),以及可选填写的预估最大重量;
- 你选择记录的身体数据,如体重、体脂率,以及你给它加的备注;
- 你创建的自定义动作,以及各项设置;
- 数据备份,以文件形式存放在 App 自己的存储空间里:打开“自动备份”时每天一份(除非你关闭,它默认是打开的),你用“立即备份”做的备份,以及每次导入前 App 自动存的安全副本。这几类合在一起只保留最近 7 份,更早的会被删除;
App
只有你自己发出时,它们才会离开 App(见第 3、4 条)。
有疑问请发邮件到 support@onemoreplate.app。
